Financial Services Website Design: 6 Standout Examples for Inspiration
/ Table of contents

When it comes to financial services, trust is everything. And, nowadays, a company’s website is often the first touchpoint for potential clients. That means your financial services website design needs to work hard — instantly communicating credibility, professionalism, and clarity.

Whether you’re a fintech start-up, a traditional bank, or an investment firm, a well-crafted website can help set you apart in a highly competitive market. To give you a dose of inspiration, the KIJO team (we’re a web design agency in London) have rounded up 6 of the best examples of financial services website design — each one demonstrating how great UX, clean design, and clear messaging can turn browsers into loyal customers.

What the Best Financial Services Website Designs Do Well

The best financial services website designs strike a delicate balance between form and function. They’re visually appealing, but more importantly — they make users feel informed, secure, and in control.

Here’s what they consistently get right:

  • 1. Clear, Trust-Building Messaging
Financial decisions can be complex, so top-performing sites lead with clarity. They avoid jargon and speak directly to their audience’s needs, building trust with transparent language and well-structured content.
  • 2. Professional, Polished Design
Great financial websites exude credibility through thoughtful use of colour, typography, and imagery. They favour clean layouts, consistent branding, and a modern aesthetic that reassures users they’re in safe hands.
  • 3. Intuitive Navigation
Users should never have to guess where to click. The best financial services website designs prioritise intuitive menus and well-organised information, helping users quickly find services, tools, or answers.
  • 4. Strong Mobile and Accessibility Standards
With more people managing finances on the go, responsive design is non-negotiable. Top sites work seamlessly across devices and prioritise accessibility, ensuring that everyone — regardless of ability — can interact with the content.
  • 5. Smart Use of Calls to Action
From “Enquire With Us” to “Speak with an Adviser,” CTAs are clear, well-placed, and action-oriented. They guide users through the journey, offering helpful prompts rather than hard sells.
  • 6. Compliance Without Compromise
Meeting regulatory requirements is essential, but the best websites weave compliance into the design without cluttering the experience. Think clearly displayed disclosures, cookie policies, and security reassurances — done elegantly.

6 of the Best in Financial Services Website Design

We asked the KIJO team to analyse and offer insights into 6 financial services website designs. Our Head of Design and Website Service Leader, Liam Terry, has shared his insights into why the following sites made his top 6.

Sight Banking

Sight Banking's green and orange modern homepage. It reads "Save & Manage your Money. Banking You Want to Use" Then, a CTA button that states "Join 5.5m Sight Clients"

Sight Banking is a banking app. It has all its services accessible online so that you don’t have to visit the bank offline.

What really stands out about Sight Banking is its unique use of layout and curvy design elements. Instead of sticking to a rigid grid, this financial services website design introduces flowing, organic shapes in both cards and backgrounds. It gives the interface a soft, human quality and a real sense of motion. The colour palette is bold and deliberate — vibrant tones paired with crisp white text create striking contrast, pulling attention to key content effortlessly. Add in some slick animations—like hover micro-interactions and sticky scrolling effects — and you’ve got a site that not only looks fresh but keeps users engaged throughout. It’s a brilliant blend of playful visuals with professional fintech content — approachable, but trustworthy.

Contiant

Contiant's white with purple accents homepage. It reads "seamless experience with Open Banking. Our advanced technology and secure systems provide a safe and reliable way to transfer funds, allowing you to benefit from reduced processing times and improved efficiency." The purple CTA button reads "get started"

Based out of Sofia, Bulgaria, Contiant is an open banking services provider that specialises in payments initiation and account information services. Its aim is to provide payments that are faster, cheaper and more secure than credit cards.

“Contiant takes a more minimalist, modular approach. Each section of content is neatly compartmentalised, making complex information much easier to digest. There’s plenty of white space too, which gives the entire layout a clean, uncluttered feel. It’s very calming to navigate. The graphics are large and meaningful — not just decorative, but used to explain key features — and smooth transitions between elements reinforce the site’s sense of control and professionalism. It’s a fantastic example of clarity through simplicity. Everything is intentional, helping users understand what’s on offer quickly and without friction.”

Cheifs

A pale yellow and pale pink/beige financial services website design for CHEIFS' homepage. Its logo is in the top right corner in dark green. The homepage is taken up by large typography reading "Suddenly, there's a new way to plan financially." It's top right, black CTA button reads "start planning."

With headquarters in Bloomfield, New Jersey USA, Cornerstone Home Equity Insurance/Investment Funding Solutions (CHEIFS) converts home equity into tax-free cash to fund annuities, life insurance, long-term care, investments, and other financial and life planning options so that their clients retain their wealth, increase liquidity, and can enhance their lifestyles.

“Cheifs’ financial services website design is all about storytelling through motion. As you scroll, animations gradually reveal content in a way that simulates a journey — problem, solution, mission — it’s structured almost like an interactive pitch deck. That narrative arc is powerful, keeping users emotionally invested as they move through the site. The transitions are seamless too, which creates a natural rhythm that helps guide the viewer. The website feels like an experience. For any financial brand that wants to communicate vision and purpose rather than just features, this is a masterclass.”

Newfront

Newfront hosts a dark, moody, nearly all black financial services website design. It has an electric pink CTA button only. The homepage reads: "De-Risking Human Progress. With elite insurance experitse empowered by breakthrough technology, Newfront is the modern insurance brokerage for the 21st century." The CTA button reads "talk to an expert".

Located in the USA, Newfront is an insurance brokerage that enables their clients to take calculated risks with confidence.

Newfront takes a modern, card-based approach to content organisation. The layout is modular and responsive, making it super functional across all devices. What really elevates it, though, is the bold typography and full-screen visuals. Everything feels confident and high-end. Accent colours are used sparingly but effectively, drawing attention to key messaging or CTAs without overwhelming the design. It’s a site that knows exactly what it’s doing — every design choice feels deliberate. Perfect for financial firms looking to communicate strength and credibility visually.

BOSQAR INVEST

BOSQAR INVEST hosts a dark, moody, monochrome website design. Its site's homepage reads in the bottom left corner "BOSQAR INVEST is a fast-growing CEE company builder and perpetual capital provider." It's CTA button beneath this reads "About us".

BOSQAR INVEST is a fast-growing CEE company builder and perpetual capital provider based in Zagreb, Croatia.

“Bosqar leans into a monochromatic visual identity — lots of black, white, and grey tones — which gives it a sleek, sophisticated edge. That minimalist palette is paired with ultra-thin, elegant typography that enhances the luxury feel. There’s also a noticeable editorial quality to the layout. It reads more like a premium magazine than a financial website. The asymmetry and whitespace work beautifully together to create a sense of exclusivity. It’s a perfect example for brands wanting to convey high-end positioning without saying too much.”

BVP

BVP hosts a pale yellow homepage with bright green, bright orange and pale blue accents and shapes. It reads "Where Does Your Vision Take Us? We partner with companies that have the global ambition and the vision to make a positive impact on the world." Two CTA buttons sit side by side beneath this. "Portfolio" is illuminated in bright green, and "About Us" is in beige next to it.

BVP was established in Ireland over twenty years ago and started out as a boutique corporate finance advisory before becoming a venture investor.

BVP.ie takes a softer, more approachable route. Its pastel palette and gentle tones create a really calming first impression — great for businesses that want to project warmth and empathy. Organic shapes add a subtle, human touch that sets the design apart from more rigid, corporate templates. The navigation is incredibly user-friendly too. It’s clear, intuitive, and low on cognitive load. It makes the whole experience feel welcoming. This is a great model for impact-driven brands who want to build trust through friendliness and simplicity.
